Hamilton’s Armoury exists to serve Australia’s licensed, law-abiding shooting community with integrity, clarity and genuine expertise. The sport and the lifestyle deserve better than vague advice, poor product matches and the quiet expectation that shooters should simply settle for what happens to be available. We built this store around a simple idea: when someone is licensed and compliant, they deserve to be supported with respect, accurate information and gear chosen with purpose. Not noise. Built by a shooter who got tired of “making do”
Hamilton’s Armoury was born from frustration and from lived experience. After more than 17 years on the range, our founder had seen the same pattern repeat: limited stock, weak guidance and a culture that normalised settling. So he did what structured people do when a problem refuses to go away. He built a better system. He brings engineering precision to every recommendation and grassroots leadership to every interaction. The store is shaped by someone who competes, tests, learns, and mentors, not someone guessing from behind a counter.
Who we serve and who we do not
Hamilton’s Armoury is for discerning, licensed shooters across pistol, rifle and shotgun disciplines, including those who are new to the sport and those refining serious competition setups. We are not for the general public or anyone without a firearms licence. Our focus is the licensed shooting community and our service is built around the realities, responsibilities and standards that come with it.
The problem we set out to fix
